Coconut Macaroons

These macaroons are quick and easy to make and they look very impressive! You don’t have to add chocolate, but it's recommended!

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 ½ cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 7 oz condensed milk sweetened
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350℉.
  • Mix together all ingredients (shredded sweetened coconut, condensed milk, egg white, and vanilla extract).
  • Form balls of whatever size you want your macaroons. I use a little ice cream scooper and allow for the outsides to be a little uneven.
  • Suggested: Refrigerate for 10-15 minutes before putting them in the oven so they hold their shape better.
  • Bake at 350℉ until golden brown on top and around the sides (approximately 20 minutes depending on the size).
  • Optional: Dip or drizzle (or both) with your favorite melted chocolate!
